In general, I appreciate the ambition and direction City Interactive has taken in this game. Only, it's far from the truth as the only mountains in Ukraine are in the West and South. The game starts with a mission on the Russian-Ukrainian border, which is apparently a mountainous area. Finally, the geography is completely off. However, some of the cutscenes with the main characters' backstories are surprisingly interesting.

The story is forgettable, with bland characters and typical secret evil societies involved in international conspiracies about world domination. You can search for collectibles if that is your kind of jam, but otherwise, empty and boring. Sure, there are some villagers to save, deer to hunt, and enemies to kill. Second, the world feels empty and uninhabited. Firstly, the game has some of the longest god damn loading screens I've seen in any game in recent memory. The music and sound effects are good, but nothing exciting. With its lighting and environments, the game can look amazing, save from the indoor rain effects or bodies clipping through textures. For me, everything ran smoothly, and I did not encounter any major bugs. The Crytek engine is responsible for the game's graphics. You can now earn points by choosing each of the play styles and unlock new abilities, mostly stats improvements, like faster climbing, more health, resistance to damage, etc. There are basically three options: long-range sniper gameplay, full-on guns-blazing assault, and stealthy close-range combat with a knife or silenced pistol. The player is usually the one to engage in combat from any direction. The world has gotten much bigger and more non-linear.

As someone who's played through the previous two games in the series, I can clearly see the improvements. 60% PCCity Interactive's Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is not a bad game, just a boring one at times.
